How to add yourself to the waiting list for a place

When an event is full and no longer accepting entries you can use the form below to add yourself to the waiting list for a place, and to provide details of your team (if applicable). Any places that become available, for example because someone else withdraws from the event, will be offered to the people at the top of the waiting list on a strictly first-come first-served basis.

What Happens Next?

After clicking on the submit button above, you should receive confirmation of your submission on screen, almost immediately. A copy of the details you have submitted will also be sent to the email address provided. If this email doesn’t arrive in a few minutes, please check your junk/spam.

We will only contact you if and when a place becomes available for you to take part in the event. This may not be until the week before the actual event as historically this is when most drop-outs occur, and hence when places become available. So if you are keen to take part we would encourage you to keep the date free and not give up hope.

If a place becomes available for you, we will send you an email with all details, including how to enter and make payment. We will also send you a text, if you provide your mobile number, just in case the email does not make it through to your inbox. You will be given 24 hours to enter and pay from when we contact you by email/text. If you don’t enter and pay within 24 hours of being contacted and we don’t hear from you to say otherwise, then we will assume that you no longer wish to take part in the event and the place that we offered you will be offered to the next person on the waiting list.
