All the questars Trio and questars Duo places have been taken up six weeks ahead of the questars adventure race in the Brecon Beacons on 30 May 2009.

If you want to kayak in this race but have missed out please enter the Brecon Beacons questars Duo race (excludes kayaking) and put a note in the 'any other questions or comments' box to say that you wish to be upgraded to the questars Trio race. We will then get in touch with you if a kayaking place becomes available.

New Forest entries coming in fast

At this time of year everyone is making resolutions to be more active and to spend more time in the great outdoors. 

This is certainly reflected in bookings for the 2009 series of questars adventure races. Well over half the available places for the first event of the series have already been booked. This ever popular New Forest questars is on Saturday 28 March. So if you are planning to take part in it we'd strongly recommended that you enter quickly to secure a place.

More racers than ever are also signing up for the whole questars series. This gives a 15% discount for those booking all four events. This opportunity will end when the last of the New Forest places is taken.

Easing of competitor age restrictions

Quest is pleased to announce that participant age restrictions have been eased. The previous upper age limit of 65 has been removed. Youngsters aged 16 & 17 can also now take part if accompanied by an adult.

Quest look foward to welcoming all newcomers who are now able to take part in future questars events as a result of these changes.

Tue 9th Sep 2008 | The launch of the Quest Racing Team

Quest Racing Team launched 


QUEST has launched its own Racing Team to represent it in a range of multi-sport, endurance and adventure race events.

The QUEST Racing Team, QRT, includes questars series champion (in both 2007 & 2008) Matthew Leathwood and 2007 & 2008 questars series ladies champion Rachel Leathwood. David Hunt, 2003 questars series champion and Daniel Carrivick, 2006 questars series champion, are also QRT members as well as being the questars Race Director and Deputy Race Director respectively. Overall winners of the Purbeck questars event in September 2008 and ultra marathon runners, Matt Morris and Barry French, from Likeys also join the QRT. As do triathletes and triathlon coaches Chris Volley and Richard Smith.

Members of QRT enjoy competing in a range of outdoor events and challenges including a variety of  adventure racing formats, ultra and mountain marathons, orienteering, triathlons and cyclo-sportive/mountain bike endurance events.

Series Series leaderboard updated after final 2008 questars event.


The Rivette 2008 Questars Adventure Race Series leaderboard has now been updated with the results from Purbeck.  It shows the overall series leaders with the highest three scores from the four event series. The top ten leaders were awarded some great series prizes after the Purbeck questars.

The final event in the Rivette 2008 questars Adventure Race Series was held on Saturday 6 September in the scenic jewel of the Isle of Purbeck, Dorset. It was an eventful day with stormy weather making for tough conditions.
