Dear adventure racer,

The Quest Team hope you had a good journey home and have now fully recovered from all your exertions on Saturday. We also hope that you enjoyed the day and can look back at competing in the third event in The Likeys 2009 questars Adventure Race Series with fond memories.

After the torrential downpours on Friday and more heavy showers on Sunday, weren't we lucky with the weather? Despite all the rain, the course was very fast with many teams recording personal best scores for the 2009 series.

The Quest Team would like to apologise for the fact that the toilets and showers were on this occasion not up to the usual high standard come to be expected by questars competitors. Please rest assured that we have taken on board all your feedback and we will be taking appropriate measures to ensure such facilities are more than adequate at future questars events.

A race report of the whole event

Entries have been coming in thick and fast for the next questars race which is being held on Saturday 5 September at Pershore, Worcestershire. This is the fourth and final event in The Likeys 2009 questars Adventure Race Series. The course is set in some wonderful Cotswold countryside and the kayaking is on a lovely stretch of the River Avon. Places are strictly limited, so teams interested in taking part are advised to enter soon here if they haven’t already done so, in order to avoid disappointment.
