Cannock Chase, Staffs.

For the final event in the 2010 Questars series we are returning to Cannock Chase. This area proved to be very popular with Questars participants in 2008. Its a wonderful mix of both deciduous and coniferous woodlands, open heathlands, parklands and many varied trails for bikers and runners.

A new course will exploit this fine terrain and give participants a real taste of much of this varied terrain. It'll be a fitting culmination to the 2010 Questars series.

Event base :

The provisional event base is Penkridge Leisure Centre, Wolgarston High School, Cannock Rd, Penkridge, Staffordshire, ST19 5RX. Please note this may change to another venue within Cannock Chase. Final confirmation will be made in Dec 09.

Facilities available :

Large indoor hall for briefing and prize giving, ample car parking, refreshments, changing rooms and showers.

Provisional event timings :

Masters : Collect team packs at 0900, Event Briefing 0920-0940, Starts from 1000

Novices : Collect team packs at 1000, Event Briefing 1030-1050, Starts from 1115

Finishing times between 1600 and 1715

Results and Prize Giving : 1730
